MRA Success Stories
. . .When you approached CSO with the generous offer to provide an E.F.Johnson trunked radio system for us to use during the 1995 Summer Games, I had no idea how it would improve and in many ways revolutionize our ability to communicate and manage the games. The system provided us with a level of service that had not before been achieved. . . Reliable communications made it possible for each task to be coordinated and for services to be made available on a moments notice . . .
Mobile Relay Associates, Inc. must be recognized for contributing to a vastly improved communication system which made it possible for the 1995 Summer Games to be the best event CSO has ever produced. The state of the art equipment and technical support which you coordinated was remarkable. Your generous donation of equipment, time and expertise made an immediate and significant difference, not only to the Games Committee, but also to the 2400 athletes and coaches and 5,000 volunteers and spectators. . .
- David A. Dill, Manager,
Chapter Games, California Special Olympics
Greater Orlando Aviation
. . .I would Like to thank you for the quality engineering and workmanship exhibited in the installation of the new 900 MHz trunked radio system installed in our North Communications Site at the Orlando International Airport. . .
As you are well aware, the Authority has very high system installation standards for our "World Class" facility. I especially appreciate your willingness to "go the extra mile" to ensure that installation appearance and performance were top notch.
The system is functioning flawlessly and performance is exceptional. This makes my responsibility of providing quality yet "invisible" communication easier to manage. It has been a pleasure to work with you and your organization.
- Bill James, Electronics Manager,
Greater Orlando Aviation Authority
ARCO has enjoyed a relationship with your organization as a result of the radio equipment we have installed at your facility on Mount Lukens. That site has always been the best performing location in our radio network. The quality of the installation, . . . technical expertise, the responsiveness of your team and the overall professionalism with which you have managed the site are the reasons for your company's favorable reputation at ARCO.
- Steve Kurland, Manager, Technical Support,
. . .At a later date Airport Communications placed a larger demand on you in which you had to design, engineer and install a complete ten channel 900 MHz trunking system. Not only did you have to complete this task but also had to meet the strict requirements set by the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority who demanded 98% radio coverage within the airport facility. Mark, you were under the scrutiny of two other independent engineering firms hired by the Authority. Not only did you prove them wrong when they stated the system would not work, you stood your ground and it is now a proven fact that our system exceeds even their requirements and not one dead spot has been detected in any part of the airport.
Your engineering, design and installation procedures have made such an impression on the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority that I have been told that all of your procedures will be written as their standard for future radio systems including their own.
- Glenn R. Bright, Sr., President/Manager,
American National Communications Companies, Inc.
. . .He literally worked around the clock and more on several of the installations. He was concerned with every detail regarding everything he did, no matter how long it took.
. . .I have worked directly in the two-way radio industry since 1962. I have installed and been associated with probably more installations than most people in this business. . . and I have never met a more dedicated, devoted, conscientious, brilliant engineer, who is such a blatant perfectionist, in this field. Every system constructed was a masterpiece.
- Donald C. Garrison, President
American National Communications Companies, Inc.
. . .Your buildings on Mt. Lukens and Saddle Peak have state-of-the-art construction with battery and generator backup . . .
The bottom line is out of 17 sites used by CMRA in three states, your company has the best. I wish you had more sites.
- Mike Wulfestieg, President
. . .As a professional engineer in the radio industry for 25 years, I have seen hundreds of radio transmitter sites. Most site developers are usually constructing their site with no master plan, no standby emergency power and inadequate structural support for newly installed antennas. This is obviously not the case with your operation. Your commitment to excellence and long term planning for expansion is actually quite unusual in the industry.
I commend you on your vision, planning and continuing patience in doing things the right way the first time. This is far too rare in our industry.
- Larry D. Ellis, P.E.,
On behalf of the Children's Miracle Network, I would like to again express my personal gratitude for the use of the MRA Santiago Peak trunked radio system for the Telethon's transportation communications effort during this weekend's telethon . . .
We don't know we could have done it without you.
- Gardner L. Harris, President
. . . In the course of our conversation this customer conveyed that he was particularly impressed with the flawless service he is receiving from Mobile Relay Associates, Inc. After several distasteful experiences with our competitors, he is thoroughly convinced that our system is the best in the Denver market.
. . . This customer's satisfaction is a direct reflection on the quality of Mobile Relay's work and your efforts in particular, Mark. Your exacting attention to detail and impeccable system installation has resulted in the cleanest, most reliable system in the Denver market. A major portion of our continuing growth is based on the reputation of Mobile Relay's service, alone. It is truly a pleasure to sell our customers hardware, knowing that we can also offer them the best repeater service available. . .
