The TKR-830 series repeaters are Kenwood’s high tier analog repeater / base station radio which has all the features you need in an analog radio. This radio has a wealth of robust features including a frequency range of 450-480MHz UHF, 32 channels per radio. The radio is capable of the following modes of operation: analog simplex, two frequency duplex, analog conventional repeater, analog LTR trunking with external controller. The basic repeater has 5 watt output adjustable down to 2 watts to drive an external power amplifier to operate at 40W or 100W or 250W UHF. The repeater receiver has a built in local speaker with 4W output, receiver volume control, LED status indicators, 2 digit LED numeric display, microphone jack for local transmitting, RJ-45 serial interface for programming, flash firmware upgrades. Analog FM air interface with 12.5KHz and 25KHz channels. FM modes include 16 QT/DQT repeater control including hang timer, time out timer, CW ID, external reference input, external FM controller interface.
