Palisades Fire area

The aftermath of the Palisades fire offered a stark reminder of nature’s unpredictable power, with landscapes once green now marred by charred earth and ash-gray remains of flora. The extent of the destruction was evident everywhere you looked: blackened tree trunks stood like silent sentinels, and the air carried the lingering scent of smoke and smoldering embers. Despite the devastation, amid these difficult conditions, our team worked tirelessly to ensure that our operational sites remained up and running throughout the crisis.

Keeping the sites running in the middle of such adversity was no small feat. Power lines had to be checked and, in some cases, repaired. Backup generators roared to life, providing essential electricity to maintain critical infrastructure. Communication systems, which many relied on for updates and safety information, were a top priority—we worked around the clock to keep everything connected. Our crew navigated road closures and heavy smoke, sometimes accompanied by firefighters, to maintain the equipment that kept the community informed and safe.

Throughout those challenging days, the community’s resilience stood out as people came together to offer support where it was needed most. Even as the flames threatened everything, our commitment to keeping the sites operational never wavered. The sights we witnessed during the Palisades fire—scorched hillsides, firefighters battling the blaze, families evacuating with what they could carry—are forever etched in our memories. Through teamwork, planning, and perseverance, we made sure that, in the midst of chaos, critical services continued for everyone who depended on them.
