The TK-190 series portable radio is Kenwood’s high tier public safety grade analog radio which has all the most common features you need in an analog radio.  This radio has a wealth of robust features including a frequency range of 29.7-37.0MHz or 35.0-50.0MHz VHF Low Band, 16 channels per radio.  The radio is capable of the following modes of operation: analog simplex, analog conventional repeater.  Other features include, 7 character 13 segment lighted LCD display, inverting display, two color status LED, renowned KENWOOD audio quality, 6W high power or 1W low power, 500mW speaker audio, companded audio per channel, TOT, busy channel lockout, low battery alert, battery saver, 3 programmable side keys, 2 programmable top keys, monitor, flash firmware upgrades, DTMF encode and decode, encryption optional, emergency call features, man-down option,  12.5KHz & 25KHz channels, PTT ID per channel, cloning, front panel tuning, multi-pin connector, scan, priority scan, dead beat disable, QT, DQT, 2 tone decode, single & 2 tone encode, OST, scan.
