TKR-720 & TKR-820 Repeaters
The TKR-720 & TKR-820 series repeaters are Kenwood’s high tier analog repeater / base station radio which has all the features you need in an analog radio. This radio has a wealth of robust features including a frequency range of 136-150MHz or 150-174MHz VHF and 450-470MHz or 470-490MHz or 490-512MHZ or 406-430MHz UHF, 1 channel per radio. The radio is capable of the following modes of operation: analog simplex, two frequency duplex, analog conventional repeater, analog LTR trunking with external controller. The basic repeater has 50 watt output adjustable down to 15 watt to drive an external power amplifier to operate at 40W or 110W or 250W VHF, 25W adjustable down to 2 watts to drive an external power amplifier to operate 40W or 100W or 250W UHF. The repeater receiver has a built in local speaker with 4W output, receiver volume control, LED status indicators, microphone jack for local transmitting. Analog FM air interface with 12.5KHz and 25KHz channels. The unit can be ordered for operation on either 12.5KHz or 25KHz bandwidth from the factory and is not field changeable, EPROM programmable. FM modes include 16 QT/DQT repeater control including hang timer, time out timer, external FM controller interface.
