 The NX-240V & 340U series portable radio is Kenwood’s economical digital trunking radio which has most features available in digital radios.  This radio has a wealth of robust features including built in GPS.  The radio is capable of the following modes of operation: analog simplex, analog conventional repeater, digital simplex, digital conventional repeater and digital type-D trunking.  Radio features include mixed digital & analog FM operation, renowned KENWOOD audio quality, 2W VHF, 2W UHF, 32 channels, 2 zones, 16 channels per zone, 1W speaker audio, 6.25 & 12.5KHz channels, over the air alias (TX only), paging call, individual call, conference call, status messaging, remote monitor, site roaming, late entry, zone / channel number voice announcement, VOX, emergency call, remote stun, remote kill, ESN, lone worker, TOT, low battery warning, battery saver, wireless cloning, password protection, PTT release tone, minimum volume, microphone sense adjustment, 64 RAN codes, individual and conference group calling, FleetSync II, MDC-1200, DTMF, QT, DQT, 2 tone, companded audio, squelch level adjustment and intrinsically safe option.  Accessories included are KNB-45L Li-Ion Battery Pack, KSC-35S Rapid Charger, KRA-26 VHF Helical Antenna or KRA-27 UHF Whip Antenna and KBH-10 Belt Clip.
