NEW Features
The VP8000 is now able to support NXDN trunking, making it compatible with our existing network and allowing it to operate smoothly within our current communications system. This added capability gives users greater flexibility in the field, especially when reliable trunked radio communication is required across multiple talkgroups or coverage areas. In addition, the VP8000 can link to ESChat, providing an important bridge between traditional radio users and broadband push-to-talk users over the internet. With ESChat connectivity, you can stay in communication with your team even when users are outside normal radio coverage, using compatible smartphones, tablets, or other connected devices. This helps maintain dependable contact between radio and internet-based users, improving coordination, responsiveness, and overall communication efficiency.

There is a wide selection of portable radio accessories available for the radio which is depicted in the attached accessory catalog.
